Tea is good for you – how to make it even healthier

Mugs of tea, healthy tea, There isn’t much that can’t be fixed by a good old cuppa. But did you know that depending on how long you leave the teabag in to brew, ┬áresults in varying degrees of goodness.

The ladies of Manchester WI were on hand to help with an experiment that was aired recently on BBC’s Britain’s Favourite Supermarket Foods.

How long do you leave the t-bag in? Longer than the average 40 seconds?

I really like to make a pot of tea, loose tea, tea my Granny use to make. If I can find some more health benefits that I don’t know about I would really like to know!

Why doesn’t the BBC show this very interesting, educactional program again. The health of the Nation would benefit!
